I've known for years that air fresheners give me asthma...

It's nice to know research has caught up!

Air fresheners, strong perfume, deoderants, after-shave, many cleaning products, all can leave me wheezy and in the worse cases provoke a severe asthma attack.  I stopped working on the counter in our local Oxfam shop when the manager refused to remove the air freshener.

There are several shops that I'm unable to go into because of the scents they use.
