This article is really telling me what I know already - being outdoors and exercising in any way at all does wonders for my stress levels.  Apparantly it helps the health in more ways than one.

People stick longer at outdoor forms of exercise and are less likely to give up after a few attemps.  Volunteering in the outdoors gives social benefits as well as physical ones.
