Cautious optimism

micavity put a paper wrap around the pipe with the slight leak and waveney has been replacing it whenever it gets saturated. The slight damp patch on the cork tiles has now dried up (it took two days to dry totally). It's too soon to say if it was the trigger for the asthma, but the asthma has improved a lot today. My peak flow is upto 470 and that's a good reading for me. I'm on steroid tablets and max salmeterol, but I haven't had to take salmeterol (ventolin) since I got up this morning (it's now around 5pm). That's certainly better than yesterday. It just may be the steriods taking effect, though. But my chest feels clearer.

The down side is that all the inhalers I have had to take have flipped the voice. It went this morning, almost totally, and completely unexpectedly.
