Bank surveys
Dec. 6th, 2005 12:07 pmPhoned Barclays again as I'm still struggling with my community account. At the end of the phone call (which at least produced someone who knew what may actually be a valid online membership number for it) I was asked if I'd do a satisfaction survey for them.
I said yes, then changed my mind several seconds later when the survey began.
Why?
I'm calling them on an 0845 number. That's 3p a minute - some of which goes to them. Why should I pay for the priviledge of taking part in their survey? If they want to pay for the call, I might be willing, but not after I've already paid to sit on hold waiting for the phone to answer.
At least it wasn't an 0870 number. There're more like 7p or 8p a minute.
