I had a great couple of days with the_magician walking round local beauty spots, filking and hitting the charity shops (there's more detail in his LJ).

I've written two Stargate novels - both gen. Today, a fan who'd enjoyed them bought copies of them both for three of her friends.

I really can't think of a more sincere compliment to pay a writer.

Cheered me up no end.
