I've been very poor at posting recently, for a number of reasons.
1. Henry's job-hunting again. Very frustrating. He had a contract and when it ran out, the people he was working for wanted to take him on as a full-time employee (in fact , two separate departments both wanted him), but the company has a hiring freeze at present. (I tend to get a bit down when Richard and/or Henry are out of work and when I'm down I post less)
2. Morris - Anonymous Morris have been very busy recently. Two folk festivals, the Jubilee and a lot of school work. We're getting very popular with cubs and scouts as well. Another school next week, a cub pack and the sea scouts in July.
3. Stargate fiction. I spent a lot of time getting my Stargate stories uploaded onto AO3. Owing to when and where they were originally stored, I had to do all the italics and any other special characters by hand and that took a lot of time. Still, I did actually get some decent feedback, and when Henry has work again, I suspect I'll carry on with the work I've already started on the third novel.
4. Bad weather has cut out a lot of allotment time, but I have managed to do some weeding on the rare occasions when the sun has been shining.
5. The Red Cross - I'm spending two days a week helping in the Red Cross shop in Poole. It used to be only one day, but the turnover on books seems to be increasing and it's taking more time to keep them all sorted. And the bus routes have recently changed, which means it's taking me longer to get into town than it used to. I'm taking an average of an hour each way if you count waiting time (as the bus is often late) and I'm starting to question whether I can continue helping at the shop when I'm losing that much travel time.
