Morris at Redemption

I'll be giving a talk on the history of morris dancing - which I hope people will find interesting even if they don't dance themselves.  Morris has a long chequered history and the research methods are almost as interesting as what they reveal.  eg.  Arrest records are a useful guide to where morris was danced...

There will also be a morris workshop, teaching an easy Border morris dance.

If the fates are kind, there may even be a morris performance in the ceilidh interval.
