Mystery Tablet Weaving Project step 8 - the final part of the Pattern

I finished my band for the Mystery Tablet Weave, so I thought I'd let you all see how it came out.
This is the bit you’ll see in the video.
This is where I started doing freeform and experimented with different pattern repeats.
I've added some subtitles to the latest video as the sound quality from my camera is pretty poor.
I haven't yet finished off the ends, which is why you can still see a plastic bag clip on the hat. I'll be showing you how to make a fringe at the end, shortly. There are many ways you can finish it off, but fringe is easy to do and makes use of the yarn left at the ends.

I didn't see any subtitles-- wonder if my 'puter is set up wrong? And I really couldn't distinguish what you were saying (I usually can't make out the words on a lot of YouTube stuff, anyway). But it looks beautiful!

My browser must not be compatible with the captioning, then, because I never saw any text anywhere. (I tried watching both the embedded on DW version, and the version at YouTube.) I just went back and tried it on the LJ embedded post- this time with all distracting noise from my surroundings turned off, and while I couldn't see any text, I was able to make out what you were saying, so I count that a success.

i was going to comment and say - that looks really cool! (i'm really impressed with how professional it looks) but then i re-focused my eyes and noticed what was behind the hat, and so now i am going to comment and say - ha. THAT's cool.

I don't see any subtitles either, but I can hear the sound.

This is exactly what I wanted to do for my next project! I mean, the pattern. Only I was going to rotate six cards forward and six card backwards. Would never have thought of the easier way :)

I decided to continue my first project with the first to variations of the patterns. As for experiments, with the yarn I've taken it's too problematic. I'll post some pictures when I finish the project.

And thank you very much! You are a wonderful teacher.
