The tube isn't for anything serious. She's premature, so she can't suck strongly yet, so she needs to get extra fuel and the milk comes via the tube.

Please, more pictures of the two of you, this new year of Oswin's especially? What I'd love: a picture each month of the two of you, as she grows, in one amazing year, toward the autonomy of walking (what someone called the "real" birth of the human infant, a phrase that sticks in my mind).
