Journal names

 A lot of my friends are setting up DW accounts at present.

Some are under the same name, some under different names.

My head is reeling trying to remember who is who....

If people regularly post on DW and cross-post to LJ, then I prefer to read them on DW and will remove them from my read list on LJ (but still leave them friended).

If you've recently (in the last month or so) set up a DW Account, please can you comment here (either on LJ or DW) to tell me:

1.  Which journal you will be using to post your entries. (ie.  Is it okay for me to default to reading you on DW)

2.  What your name is on both journals (several of you have done a helpful post of this nature, but I can see that I'll forget before long and it would be handy to have them all in both places)

3.  If you're willing, what name I know you by in real life and where we originally met (because I tend to forget that over time and think "I know I know you, but where do I know you from?")  

I'm still watervole on DW.

Yes, I've been getting lots of LJ backup notifications too! I do have a spreadsheet somewhere cross-referencing online personas - must dig it up (I am, like you, the same everywhere).

I'm entropy_house on LJ. I don't think I was on your flist on LJ, we mostly have B7 friends in common.

I have a vague impression of having briefly met you during the 2003? B7 Convention (brain going, can't recall the name of the con or the venue- big one with lots of guest actors)... I might have been gluing sparkly stuff on a t-shirt as you went by. :^)

Well, entropy_house began as a journal after a seemingly endless series of household breakdowns-- mmm-- the first post actually was the day my brother tried to dig up the malfunctioning main waste line to the house and severed the gas line with a shovel... so, entropy_house was based on decay and bad luck.

Feng_Shui on the other hand is about improving your immediate environment and increasing your chances of good luck. :^)

It seemed hopeful and appropriate, especially considering that LJ is decaying and DW is growing stronger.

I have an account here as an emergency bolt-hole, but I don't intend to make this my primary blog unless LJ crashes and burns in a much more spectacular way than at present. I'm Birdsedge on LJ and Jacey on DW and will continue to read and comment on LJ. I'll probably remember to come here and import LJ into DW as a backup irregularly.
