Who is on Dreamwidth?

I've just discovered that one of my friends has been on DW for the last year without my noticing.

If people post on both, then I default to reading them on DW.  If they only post actively on LJ, then I read them on LJ.

I know a number of people have shifted to Dreamwidth recently, so please can you update me with the status quo.

I know that some people primarily use their DreamWidth account for posting, but occasionally will post only to LJ (mostly for trivial/silly things).

I do my posting on LJ. I import the contents of my LJ to DW once a week or so, or when I remember.

Ulp. Actually, despite the button I pressed by mistake, I do have an inactive Dreamwidth account, but it is likely to stay inactive. It just protects my user name. I have the same on IJ.

I do the opposite of you, I read mainly on LJ and on DW only read people I don't see on LJ. Although DW is picking up so I now actually look here most days instead of a couple of times a month, but I read LJ and not DW from work as well so generally several times a day there.

I wasn't completely sure what you meant by an inactive DW account. I use it for commenting where people have expressed a preference for receiving comments on DW. But I don't (currently, at least) use it for posting.

I was on DW under another name, but never use that account. Since setting up the separate inamac account I've been posting there and linking here - but the majority of my commenting is on LJ.

I put completely different (mostly fanfic) material on my Insane Journal and rarely crosspost that anywhere else.

There is a DW account. I don't use it. I don't like the way they've split the LJ community, or the zealot-like approach that some people adopt about them and their alleged superiority. Staying put here.
