Entry tags:

Dreamwidth

I'm considering moving over to Dreamwidth as they've recently added some features that I can see will be very useful to me.

The ability to search my own journal is wonderful. I've just upgraded to a paid account and tested it out. Even with tags, I'd been having problems finding some old entries, and it's very useful to be able to locate some things (just been checking on my early experiences with contact lenses to give me a point of comparison to where I am now)

They're also working on a feature to allow you to have multiple draft entries. I *want* this...

I'm still trying to work out how to view my tags over there at present.

I can't find out how to view my tags on DW most of the time, so if you find out let me know. I have found the 'tags' entry on the 'navigation' entry in my layout if that helps. But that I find a bit unhandy.

You can see your tags at http://watervole.dreamwidth.org/tag/. But I'm using one of the Dreamwidth layouts that lists all my tags in a right-hand column (with the ones I use most often in bigger type).

That's strange, because I think I'm seeing this entry in your style, and the tag column is there on the right-hand-side for me (starting from "about me" and down to "you tube"). Might be worth a query in [community profile] getting_started to see what's up ?

Er, you seem to be here on Dreamwidth, and I can see your tags in a blue bar on the right hand side of the page (that certainly isn't my DW style!)
