I've seen you comment in friends' journals, and I see we have a number of interests in common, so I've friended you. I hope that's OK! If not, just let me know.
Yep, that's a picture of me (taken back in the Colorado Rockies, but it could as easily have been the woods near Aberfeldy). What's funny given my looks and colouring is that my heritage is all Frisian and English--go figure! There must be a Celt of a Scandinavian in the woodpile somewhere...
At this point, the novels seem to be the most active remnant of the Tekumel world in general circulation. I've purging most of my role-playing games for lack of use, but the EPT ones I'm holding onto just because the setting is so queerly interesting and detailed. I must catch up on the novels that have come out from a smaller press after Daw came out with the first two; I hope they are as good!
Not refriending is totally fine, of course. I don't friends-lock many of my posts, mostly just stuff on politics or emigration that I don't want to share with friends from work just yet (my boss knows I'm planning on leaving next year, but my co-workers don't).

I'm unlikely to friend you back at present as I find it physically difficult to read a lot of journals.
However, I note we have a lot of interests in common (I'm interested in a lot of things on your list that I haven't actually listed as interests)
Never seen anyone with 'Tekumel' on their list before. I really must get around to reading the EPT novel that has been on my shelf for far too long...
Is the icon a picture of you? If it is, you'd look right at home in Scotland!
