Optical illusions

If you like optical illusions, try this page.  I especially recommend the one labelled 'The Eclipse of Mars'  - I don't know how it works (though I suspect it involves opposite colours), but it gives an impressive display of cyan.

I would go for the rotating snakes. Makes for a wonderful desktop wallpaper. I've long noticed a similar effect with floral curtains and artexed ceilings - just lie back and watch them ripple.

Ooh, I do like the Mars ones. I've seen lots of variations of the others, but not that one.
