Oh yes. I have one regular source of info on this topic which troubles me depply as well - we have got New Scientist magazine in our library and they comment on the environmen regularly. Plus other sources. We do not have seas but oceans are cradles of life and rainforests and all - it is horrible to watch helplessly all the destruction. The balance of the Nature is so delicate - destroy one piece and all falls apart ... which is in progress now, I am afraid.

Wow. M&S just went up in my estimation! I was actually contemplating how much fish I eat today, and whether it was something I could comfortably cut out of my diet. It isn't something I could change in my children's diets (as you might remember from our conversation at dinner in Chester), but wandering to your journal and reading this, right after considering it, is particularly synchronous - enough for me to take note :)

Mind if I add you, btw?

Sure, feel free to add me (I don't add everyone back due to keyboard strain). It's nice to know people are interested in the environmental stuff I post. I'll put up a posting today that I think will interest you, so make sure you read it - smile.

Thanks :) The strain is something we have in common, so I know how you feel! Katlinel put us in touch briefly about two years ago, when I was virtually paralysed for a week after damaging my spinal cord in my neck. You gave me some advice that was helpful.

I've been and read your post - that was very informative :) I buy an awful lot of haddock and cod for my children's diets so now I shall have a shop around!

Thank you :)

You may find some alternative white fish like coley to be useful.
