Birthday

Had a great day, having a great evening. Now upto six phone calls from friends and family! It's nice to actually have some voice for once. I was able to talk all through the slouch and be on the winning team for two games of Articulate.

... best bets are direct email, text messages or phone calls I'm afraid. I don't know why I didn't see the message on the RED list, I'll check when I get home.

It would have been lovely to see you (and I could have given you your CD case back as I've put it in an obvious and safe location (on the DVD shelves near the couch) so I will be able to find it quickly.

'Friad the wrists are too crap for much direct e-mail these days.

We'll work out something. Heck, I might even hold a party just to give you an excuse to bring the CD case!

Thank you for the lovely reply. On rereading what I first said, I was afraid it could have been read as some sort of demand of "how I should be contacted", but you've replied beautifully :-)

When I was working in Farnborough, it would have been easier coming down to see you, but even now I have the choice of heading home after work, grabbing the car and driving down, or just jumping on a train from Waterloo down to, say, Poole (takes between 2 and 2.5 hours) and getting an early train back the next morning.

Or you could drop down some weekend. You're always welcome to visit and borrow the spare bed.
