Keeping in contact with friends

 Enjoyed a Melodion session with Trudy.  She relies too much on printed music, I don't read it well enough and tend to rely on playing by ear.

The net result was good - we're both working on the skill that we lack :)

We'll meet again next week and hope to do it regularly.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see a very old friend. She's a Jehova's Witness who first knocked on my door when I was pregnant with my first child - which was several decades ago.  In the afternoon, I'm helping a Ukrainian update his CV.

Friday I'm seeing Dima - both to teach him English and because he and his wife have become my friends.

Saturday, I'm phoning my sister.

This is the best thing! Yes, you are busy but this is also very rewarding. That is why I also do my best to keep in touch with people personally. Our Fridays in the pub are a long -time tradition and it is about talking and sharing interesting things, not about drinking. Well, one small beer *wink*.
