Puppet Show!

I have a large collection of Pelham (and a few assorted) marionettes from my youth.

Now Oswin is seven, they're coming out more often and getting used again.

Here is our dog training session, followed by our version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

Sit back, get out your popcorn, and enjoy!  (We offer no apologies whatsoever for limited scenery and levitating bears.)

👏👏👏

All bears should levitate!

I have a white fifi! I think she may have been my sister's and she's not in such good condition as yours.

Ah - perhaps she isn't Fifi. White poodle with red bow (I've just checked her). Still in box (albeit rather battered) and with instructions, but no name. A quick websearch indicates these were 1948-1986 which would tie in with my recollection of her being my sister's (b 1944) first, although would equally be possible she was mine all along.

Is that a Thunderbird pilot? !!

We used to have a fantastic stash of Pelham puppets, including a magnificent dragon. And we had a lovely little theatre like yours. I wonder what happened to them all....

We had Virgil and Brains - apparently Brains is worth a lot more because not nearly so many of them were sold :-p
