I think it's time I updated my friends list. Note that my friends list is not the list of people I read, but the people who can read my friends-locked posts.

If you want to read postings where I'm wittering about work (which seems safer to keep locked) or about family (where I don't want to embarrass them if anyone goes looking) and you're not currently on my friends list, then leave a message here.

You won't be missing anything thrilling if you're not on the list. Note that I'm unlikely to put you on the list unless I know who you are in real life.

Will I still be able to read about the cowslips coming into bloom and the swallows arriving? It would help if I could remember which is which between swallows and house martins, cos which ever we get has arrived.

Anything about swallows and cowslips always goes on my public postings. I certainly wouldn't friend lock those.

It's only stuff that I don't want strangers to read by accident that gets locked. eg. I have a friend who lost a job and it may have been related to things he posted in his journal.

Most of what I post is public.
