E-mail problems

I've got e-mail problems of uncertain origin. I'm okay with web access, but I can't access my mail. It seems to be a problem with the computer, but Richard's working all hours this week and hasn't any free time to look at it.

If you've written to me in the last few days, I won't have read it. I can't currently reply to older mail either.

Maybe I've asked this before, but would you like a GMail invite? It's supposed to work with any old browser these days (although I haven't personally tried it with anything but Firefox, MSIE and Safari).

It doesn't work with the Acorns, or didn't last time we checked.

A tutorial on using Demon's webmail facility may be in order, but I'll be out most of the morning.

I just tried it, and GMail works with Lynx. If the Acorn browser is more primitive than that, that's actually kind of impressive.

Try http://www.mail2web.com - it's a web interface to an email account so you should be able to get at your new stuff, at least.
