Consummation Two
I'm just back from Consummation Two where a great weekend was had by all. (If anyone's tried to contact me by e-mail in the last few days, I tried to connect without success and I haven't had a chance to read mail since getting back. I'm going to bed as soon as I've written my journal.)
Consummation is a small con with a mixture of board games, freeform games, war games, folk singing and a celidh. It may sound an eclectic mix, but it suited us to a 't'. I had an evening singing songs I love, a morning playing tunes with two other concerina players, an afternoon being a Hollywood scriptwriter, an evening doing belly dancing and dancing in the ceilidh, a morning being a member of a city council dealing with varied and entertaining problems from the locals, lots of gaming and spending time with a really nice bunch of people.
It was just what I needed, as there were things I needed to get away from, and get away from them I did.
I've signed up for the next one.
