 I found this today on Tom Lewis's web site.  It seemed an appropriate way to say goodbye to Chris Croughton.  (For those who didn't know him, he was a filker, a friend and a genuinely nice guy who just died in a car crash).

I'm sorry for your loss. I think this man's tragic death was mentioned on another of my LJ Friends' pages, too.

Oh, I hadn't heard that. :(

I didn't exactly know him, but he was such a friendly guy; we used to exchange a few words when we met in the corridors at Eastercons. And we were both active in rec.arts.sf.fandom in the 90s.
