The Apprentice - Yay!

Enter your cut contents here.Triumph of the Geek.  So nice to see a winner who is a genuine nice guy, who didn't spend all his time explaining how he would give 110% and running down the other candidates.  A guy who actually wanted the prize rather than just wanting to win.

I'd have been happy to see Tom or Helen win (or in my dream scenario, have Helen running the business and Tom coming up with the ideas).  But this wasn't the old Apprentice with a job - which Helen would have won - it was about having business ideas - and thus our favourite geek is a very happy winner.

Yes, I did wonder briefly whether Surallan would hire both of them so the Helen could organise Tom.

My 5 seconds of fame starts now: Matt Riley is my niece-in-law's boss.

I agree - Helen to run the business and Tom to invent things would be the ideal combination. I'd be surprised if Helen doesn't get another job offer out of this as well.

By the way I don't like the way they made Helen sound like a glorified secretary though. I'd you look at her website she has a regional manager type job & then was promoted to the CEO assistant.
