Young Wizards by Dian Duane

I haven't posted much the last couple of weeks due to an annoying health problem that's been wrecking my concentration.  I think we've found out what it is and how to cure it, will post more when recovered.

However, had to share a happy smile.

I looked at my nephew's Xmas list this year and then bought something that wasn't on the list.  I got him the first three books of Diane Duane's 'Young Wizard' series.  His birthday request list just came round - he's asking for the rest of the series!

(I should add that he's a keen reader, so books were a reasonably safe bet.)

I like Diane's writing, not least because she always makes the effort to get her science correct, and make it interesting as well.

I like the sound of that author. Also the sound of your health improving, and hope it continues to do so.

I hope you will be able to get rid of your healt problems competely!
It is always good to hear that books still make people happy. Especially if they are family or friends.
Diane Duane! I know her - she also wrote Star Trek TOS books, I have "Doctor´s Orders" and I like this novel very much! :-)

I haven't read many of Diane Duane's books but The Book of Night with Moon and
To Visit the Queen both held me spell bound. I must try and track down more of her work.

The "Young Wizards" books are an excellent series, and should be plugged, along with Diana Wynne Jones' Chrestomanci books, at every possible opportunity.
