HSBC have the best in branch customer service Ive experienced. I set up a savings account bacially nfor a cheque Id received while I was in process of trying to make Daves account a joint one and didnt have anywhere to put the cheque. I walked down to the appointment on a cold day - they insisted on bringing me a coffee - apologised four times for a wait of about three minutes while the guy finished his previous appointment and set evertyhing up and explained everything very clearly. I fidn their telephone banking easy to deal with as well.
