dentists and how to be very stupid

The dentist said the tooth is going to need a root canal job. If the tooth wasn't one I use, he'd have removed it alltogether. It's going to take three sessions including the one today...

It's got entibiotic and a temporary filling in at the moment. At least, it had...

I was just flossing my teeth to get a bit of food out, and without thinking, I automatically started working round the teeth where bits often stick, and I've just pinged out part of the temporary filling!

I'm not sure if what's left will last until the 14th when I'm supposed to be getting the next part of the job done.

Oh dear. That's exactly the daft sort of thing I'd do.

Sounds like something I'd do too.

Oops! I hope what's left does last long enough...
Sorry it has to be root-canaled. :(

Blech, my sympathies.

Erp. Can you ring the dentist and get it patched up, or ask whether the rest of the temp is likely to last? Maybe the dentist could put some bog standard temp material in to keep stuff from getting into the tooth. I recently had RCT, and my temp filling lasted three weeks, so hopefully yours will be OK. Good luck with everything.
