Uffington White Horse

I'm in love with the Uffington White horse.

This is the most lovely photo of it that I've seen yet.

Not bad for 3000 years old...

That's a beautiful pic. Lovely lines. So simple yet majestic.

Lovely picture but it is, of course, a cat. Who ever saw a horse with whiskers?

Ehm...sorry but horses actually HAVE whiskers:-)
Of course not like cats :-)

I once debated with a friend whether those two "whiskers" were actually the legs of somebody it had Eated. But, look, not even its head is horse-head shaped.

Heh, could that have been me, I wonder? Anyway, 'tis clearly a Greate Worm!

A Draggin, no less.

Oooo...I have never seen such a gorgeous picture! Now it WAS meant to be seen from above, like that! I am sure of it...Just think of Nazca pictures.
But this one is gooooorgeous!

I'm told you get a very good view of the horse from the VAle of the White Horse and the hill opposite. the site wasn't chosen for an ariel view.

Aha, I haven“t realised that there were hills - is is like looking at a board then. Oh silly me, I did see a Tall Man in Wilmington, and it is the same situation, a view from an opposite hill...

Looks like a classic HDR enhanced image. Very nice.

It's not really a horse, you know. It's clearly a dragon. You can even see some poor bloke's legs sticking out of its mouth.

Ah, human-made ground features! I love them to bits.

Especially the ones in the UK. What a beautiful picture!
