London on Thursday afternoon

I'm coming up to London for the Tun tomorrow.

Anyone fancy meeting up in the afternoon and visiting a museum or similar?

The curse of the werking classes is that they have to werk! But depending on how early you're arriving, I could always meet you at lunchtime for a look around The Cartoon Museum (http://www.cartoonmuseum.org/) near the British Museum, which is currently hosting an exhibition of Rowland Emett's drawings and models. (But if you're not arriving that early the exhibition is probably worth a visit anyway.)

What time do you normally have lunch? I don't yet know what time I'll get into town, but I've got your number in my mobile.

Could be any time between midday and 2.00pm. (I have to be back at my desk by 2.00pm at the latest, since that's when afternoon core time starts.)

I would, but I have physical problems looking up for more than a minute or so, so I'd best stay away to avoid triggering my neck pain.

You could try standing up on the National Gallery steps for a straight on view but you know your neck best.

The Bloke ([livejournal.com profile] lewis_p_bear) and I will be there. Travelling up from Bristol on the train to cheer Sue on.
