I Voted

I went and I voted.  Used one of those useful web sites (would link but I'm too wobbly to go and find it) which told me which political party was closest to my politics.  It came out Lib Dem as I expected (the Greens came second).

The Lib Dems are pretty good on the environmental front.

Don't know who to vote for other than "Not BNP". Hopefully will decide by the time I get home from work...

indeed. Felt good to exercise one's right (I don't view it as a duty).
I did also want to vote for the "Roman Party Ave" chap, but the Sensible Me won out...

..and the Greens are pants on the Science front.

Which is one of the reasons they didn't get my vote in spite of my very strong views on the environment.

On our ballot paper here (which was about two feet long!) there was the Centurion Party! The single comment after their name was "Ave"

I have no idea who they are or what they stand for, but it was tempting ;-)

In the Netherlands there's a party that's mainly about animal rights. I voted for them.
