Email problems

Most of my email still isn't getting through.  Richard says it's a problem with UK2.  I had a batch get through yesterday, and then it all dried up again.

Double fun as my voice is still too bad for phone calls.

I could, but I never read messages on LJ. I get them forwarded to my email. Why waste time hunting through an interface that isn't as useful?

If I know to go and look for them. Reading LJ messages to the LJ address sucks. You have to wade through all the comments to find the emails. And I normally read the comments by other methods.

It's not an RSI friendly way of doing things. And replying to an LJ message only works if the person sending the message is a paid user.

Don't see why you have to go wading - when I log in, the home page tells me how many messages I've got, right there at the top.

Not for me.

Home page banner has:
- icon
- A line that reads "SUGOLL account(*) | Help | Logout"
- A line reads "Post | Messages (8) | Friends Page | Invite | Mobile"

And the "Messages" one takes me to my Inbox. Which contains LJ messages, but no reply comments.

Elsewhere on the page, there's the three most recent comments. Which lists only comments on posts, and no LJ messages.

Maybe it's different for you.

I've just had an e-mail reply to you bounce saying "relay not permitted".

I've send a test message from my hotmail account to see if that works.
