This Saturday

We have an occasional meet of local SF fans. The next one is this Saturday. We started out as a Blake's 7 group, but these days we tend to cover whatever we happen to fancy at the time.

Anyone reading this is welcome to drop by.

People appear from midday onwards. Usually we end around six, but [livejournal.com profile] predatrix and [livejournal.com profile] grumpoldusenaut are staying overnight, so likeminded souls, which means most of you lot, are welcome to do likewise.

Anyone who wants to come and needs directions to Corfe Mullen (nearest station is Poole), just ask.

Any of you gals coming to the Gareth event in Chester on the 28th? I'd love to see you there and support the new company (Enigma Productions). Especially now that I'm part of it. Tickets are only a tenner... the company is lovely, fan-run and not a ripoff thing, quite intimate and fun.

It isn't the cost of the evening, so much as the cost of the rail fare and overnight accomodation...

I might do it for theatre if the part was good, but not for a talk.

Yeah, know how you feel. That's why I planned my whole trip via Ryanair, even if I have to change planes *twice*, ugh. And I'm staying at Flip's whilst in Liverpool and then at my boss's in Chester. Well, hopefully at least some B7 fans will attend.

Hi Judith, Tasha here (as in sat next to you at connotations for breakfast quite a lot :)). Since you are the zine expert I thought I would ask you; do you know anything about "Dog House Press"? I have a friend trying to find a zine of theirs and the email addie they can find keeps bouncing.
