I just saw the following ad on Facebook's scrabble page.

Probably not. Doorstep loans and their ilk are really that scary.

If I've done my sums right, 1845% APR is 5% per week. That is downright terrifying.

But it sounds so little if you're mathematically illiterate and hear 5% a week...
