Elephant painting

I found this to be absolutely amazing. Being a natural sceptic, I checked with Snopes.com  (the use of perspective on the legs suggested human input) It isn't a fake (which is what I first wondered), though the elephants are trained. But even so, what age would a human need to be (even with training) to be able to draw that well? What does this say about the intelligent of elephants? PS. Can anyone tell me how to embed the clip in my journal?

To the right of the video there is a box with 'Embed' just above it. Copy the text in the box. Then when you go to Update Journal just underneath Subject there should be Embed Media, click that and paste into it. LJ's being a bit screwy, so I can't check properly but as I recall that should be it.

With the talent of Da Vinci about 2 or 3, with an average joe, well I'm 58 and going to art classes and that elephant can still do a better flower than I can. Perspective seems to hit at about 7 to 10 judging from the art works I've been presented with over the years in work. I've seen Elephant paintings before but never an elephant actually painting, that was amazing.

The last time I went to Melbourne Zoo (which was quite recently) I saw elephant paintings for sale in the zoo shop.

This is really amazing - and disturbing. Homo Sapiens seems to lose its monopoly...at least in painting. But who knows...
