On the recommendation of the_magician, I just signed up for the Penguin Classics 'free book if you blog about it' scheme.

I've been assigned Li Po And Tu Fu

Should be interesting...  I'm not normally much of a poetry person, though there are exceptions, but I do have at least a passing interest in Chinese history and culture (it all started when I was doing background research for a Stargate novel).
