London Tuesday 9th Oct

I'd like to be in London on Tuesday evening for a friend's birthday (assuming the hole in my gum doesn't hurt so much by then).  It's really only worth the 3 hour journey if I can do something else during the day.  Is anyone free in the London area on Tuesday afternoon?  Would anyone like to amble round a park, visit a museum/art gallery, etc?  Wednesday morning would also be an option.

Drat - I'm currently signed off work for a fortnight and was giving some thought to queuing for an on-the-day ticket for the terracotta warriors next week.

However, yesterday I opted for booking it properly later and having a city break in York instead.

Bother!
