Winspit supersoaker fight

This Saturday, 25 August, is the annual supersoaker fight between the local Blakes 7 fans, the Hitchhiker fans from ZZ9, and any other fans who want to come along.  (feel free to bring a friend)

We meet at Wareham station at 12 noon (NOT 1pm).

Bring a supersoaker, a container to carry water, sensible shoes or boots, a dry t-shirt to change into afterwards and a towel.

Also bring a picnic lunch.

Those planning on arriving by train, please let me know so that I can ensure enough cars hang around to give you a lift.

Those arriving by car, please let me know how many spare seats you are likely to have.

My email is Judith @ waveney  .   org

My mobile number (in case the train is delayed or your car breaks down) is 07759 784901

If you don't know the way to the quarry from the station, then we'll arrange to split the local people between cars to provide native guides.  (we park in Worth Matravers and walk from there to the quarry).

The fans are fun, the scenery is fantastic, the caves are dark and it's also the planet Skaro!  What more could you wish for?

The latest forecast shows bright sunshine for Saturday (we've nearly always been lucky with the weather for this event).

If anyone wants to stay on afterwards, people are welcome to hang out/sleep over at my place.

I'll be there, with three spare seats -- or four, if three of the passengers are small and patient.

Given what you're planning, would it really matter if it rained?

It's a 20 min walk across open country from the car park to the quarry. Plus, you can't dry off properly if it's raining.
