Glasses found

About an hour and a half later, looking where Richard and I had both looked already, I finally found the wretched things, by kicking my feet against them.  I think they must have fallen off the car bonnet - the frames camouflage well against the concrete of the drive.

Now I can start easing my back out again.  Stress makes it go horribly tense and achey.

I lost mine a couple of weeks ago - they fell out of my bag on the way to the college and i didn't even realise until i had a call on my mobile phone. Fortunately, somebody had found them along the road from the student flats i live in. I leave a note of my address and telephone number in the case just in case, and the finder had phoned me.

They left them for me to collect in a secure place in their front yard. There are still some good people in the world.

Maybe it's time to invest in a luminous pink glasses cord, so you can hang them around your neck for short term removals and if you take them off, it'll contrast against the concrete...? Glad you found them. Happy relaxing.
