Good for what ails you

Was feeling low.  Went down the allotment - it was raininga bit, but I decided to go anyway - planted out some French beans, put plastic cloches (milk bottles with the bottom cut out) over a couple of the young sweetcorn) weeded around all the rows of onions, kept off a very heavy shower with my waterproof jacket and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Don't ask me why it works, but it does.

Stress levels greatly improved and I've been singing to myself for the last hour!

I think it also feels good to have visible evidence of progress and achievement.

thoroughly enjoyed myself.

That's very good to hear. I don't often comment on your allotment posts but I read them with interest and enjoyment. I'm glad you're getting so much else from the allotment, as well as the succulent fruit and veg.
