Strange and slightly sad coincidence
Sometimes, things are just stretching the bounds of coincidence.
A friend of mine called around this morning. Seven or eight years ago, she lost
one of her budgies and gave the other to me so that it wouldn't be lonely. That
budgie was Imzadi. I'd guess she was a couple of years old when we got her, so
she too was a ripe old age for a budgie.
We were sitting in the garden in the sunshine, drinking coffee and talking about
Rosalie and funerals and the like. Henry appeared in the back doorway, so I
said to him something to the effect of 'When I die, bury me under a tree and
hold a barn dance for anyone who shows up'. (I have no truck with morbid
expensive funerals)
He held out his hand. In it, wrapped in a piece of white paper, was Imzadi.
She'd died just a few minutes before.
PS. (Oliver is still okay. Fingers crossed. I guess whatever affected him
affected them both.)

Do you think Imzadi would like to be buried under a tree and be accompanied by a barn dance?
