Fox moth

We went for a walk on the Saturday morning of Silvercon and Dave (WINOLJ) spotted a most glorious caterpillar on the heathland. http://www.javajane.co.uk/Hairy/slides/fox_moth.html

That's a simile you seldom see, about the beautiful caterpillar who turns into a boring moth!

I remember those from my childhood rambles on the mountain moorland, we called the caterpillars fuzzy bears.
