It's raining! Hurrah!

Real rain. I went outside and spun around and let the rain dance on my palms.

Heavy rain. It won't last forever, but it might just be enough to save my rockery plants. It's also bringing the temperature down!

Whee!

I'm really looking forward to a decent downpour. It'll push the humidity sky high and make the factory even more like a Turkish bath.

Of course, if it's really really heavy then it'll flood the place and we won't have to do any work, but I've only known that happen a couple of times so it's a bit too much to hope for.

The rain has reached us now!

Yayy!

Except that we don't have a garden, so I went down three flights of stairs, cavorted slightly self-consciously outside our building, in full view of (a) the lobby of the hotel next door, (b) the pub opposite and (c) anyone passing on the pavement, then came back in again.

May you get plenty more rain! ... as your getting rain seems to coincide with us getting sunshine.
