Visiting hospital

It wasn't as bad as I feared.

Rosalie is very weak, has to use an oxygen mask much of the time, is on a drip, has pneumoia, a tube down her nose to drain her stomach, bleeding from the tumour, etc, but for all that, she's still my sister.

The smile and the humour are still there. I hope to see her again later in the week, but if this does turn out to be my last memory of her, it will be a good one.

I'm so glad you got to visit her at last, and I hope you'll get another chance soon.

It's really good to hear that she can still smile.

I'm glad you've got to see her and were able to go away with good memories.

Same here -- you must have had the real possibility in your mind that things might go so fast that she might not even be 'there' enough to talk. It sounds terribly sad, of course, but at least recognisable.

I'll shut up now.

(Predatrix has no natural talent with emotion and intuition. This is probably why she has a soft spot for Snape. Or Avon)

I'm pleased you were able to see her, at least. My thoughts are with you and yours.

Give her a hug from me.

Alastair.
