Can I save Radio 3 plays

I can figure out how to listen to a Radio 3 play by sitting in front of my computer, but I really want to be able to save it onto my MP3 player and go and sit on a more comfy chair in the lounge.

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this? They're doing a Shakespeare season and there's several I'd like to listen to, but not sitting in front of the computer screen for a couple of hours!

The play I want is at:

I couldn't tell you how to do it on Windows, but I use Audio Hijack Pro (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/) on OSX.

Real7ime Converter (http://r7cproj.euro.ru/indexe.htm) is a Windows app to save and convert RealMedia files. You should be able to save the files as WAV or MP3. I've used this app once or twice, but it does have to stream the file so you have to wait while it plays the play to the end.

Don't you have a Tivo, or something similar? That'll have Radio 3. And I'm assuming it's in the vicinity of a comfy chair.

When Hitchhiker's was being broadcast, I found the easiest way to record it was to set a timer on the VCR, and record it from Telewest...

I've done that on occasion, but the best time for listening to long plays is train journeys. (NO distractions)

It's fairly easy ...

... somewhere back in my postings, around October last year, I gave details of one program that could do it for you ...

... but just google on "record streaming audio" and you'll find lots of free and paid for programs to do it.

Basically you leave your computer listening to Radio 3 and save the output (which goes to your soundcard) to a WAV or MP3 file. This *does* mean if you have an email program that goes "ping", you'll get a "ping" in your play if email arrives.

For example, about the first link from google is
