icons and family

kerravonsen offered to make me a new icon if I could give her an idea as to what I wanted.

I want an icon that suggests 'family'.

My family are incredibly important to me. I'm very protective of my sons (even though they're both perfectly capable of looking after themselves). I cannot imagine circumstances under which I would not welcome them if they knocked on the door. My husband and my sons are also my best friends. They're the people I like to play games with, talk to, swop bad jokes with, etc. I have other dear friends, but family are closer.

Can anyone suggest ideas for an icon that would reflect that? Mal's attitude towards his crew in Firefly is closeish, but no particular quote or screencap comes to mind.

It doesn't have to be a fannish reference.

An icon for your family? Well, knowing all of you as I do, something to do with chaos, bad jokes and affection would be highly suitable! *Grin*
