productive though silent day

waveney and exalted_mugwump were out working today, so I had a day with no temptation to use the voice. Got the front lawn mowed, weeded a good chunk of the rockery, washed lots of dishes, did some study for my Open University short course and made some progress on rewriting a story (erasing the serial numbers is turning into a complete rewrite). This evening, I made some progress in teaching Henry how to fingerspell. No point in me knowing how to do it, if he can't read it.
