Rosalie's back home

The good news is that Rosalie is back home and sounding a lot more like herself.
She says that just being able to sit in the sun in her own garden and hear the
wind in the trees makes an enormous difference. She's back with her partner and
children and doensn't have to eat hospital food any more (they try, but they
don't have much imagination when it comes to vegetarians)

She sounded so much happier when I spoke to her last night.

And I slept better than I have in a fortnight.

The bad news is that after talking to far too many friends and relatives, the
voice is totally up the spout again. C'est la vie.

It was worth it. Gillian (Rosalie's twin) will be in England at the end of this
week, so I'll probably risk the voice and go and see two sisters at once.

Oh, I'm so glad to hear Rosalie is home and feeling better! Spending day after day in a hospital can be so depressing, even aside from the food. And it's also good to hear that her twin was able to schedule a visit.

Sorry about your voice, though. More "Clanger noises" in the future? :)
