exalted_mugwump just got his A-level results.A,C,C. (maths, further maths, physics) Problem, he needed A,B,B for his first choice university. However, acting on a tip that someone gave him several months ago, he immediately phoned Manchester (his first choice university) on his moblie. On the fifth attempt, he got through and asked if they still wanted him. They said yes!
I don't know who that person was, but I owe them a mega vote of thanks.
