This is my grandson, on the day of his cousin's school sports day.

Oswin (you can see her at the start of the video) won the 1500m, much to her delight. She's useless at sprints, but our family have the legs for long distance.

Theo managed to improve his personal best on the 5m shuffle by a significant margin :)

Ah, here he goes, a little adventure seeker! He is a lovely boy and in your supporting company, nothing is going to stop him. Go, Theo!!!:-)

He really is! He'll be here with us tomorrow, and I've already cleared all the windowsills. He's pulling himself up on things, as he likes to stand upright.

He had an adoring fan club among Oswin's school friends.

He's a happy little soul (except when he's caught another bug).

What a snugglesome and determined baby! I like his eyebrows.

Determined is definitely the word. He knows what he wants. Right now, he wants to be on his feet as much as possible, preferably where he has a piece of furniture to cling onto. (he can't walk unaided, that will be a while yet, as his balance needs masses of work).

But he'll try to climb anything that is climbable - person, cushion, you name it.

Takes after his dad. We had to take the bottom rung off our climbing frame, as he was trying to climb it before he could walk.

And dad could climb over the side of his cot, as well... After several loud 'thuds' on the floor, we gave up and lowered the cot side permanently, so that he wouldn't hit the floor so hard!
