Network

Do you ever click on 'Network' on any of your friends' pages?

I've done that several times recently, and added several new and interesting people to my subscription/access list as a result.

I think that's how I found Puddleshark - who turns out to a. Live in Dorset and loves visiting the kind of places I love to visit.  Especially beautiful gardens, and b.  Is  a fellow dancer, belonging to a team I know well, and I have definitely met her in real life!  (But will have to wait until Anonymous Morris and Holly Copse Molly meet up at a festival or dance out, to work out which member of the team she is!)

I don't think I've ever consciously seen the "Network" link before, as it doesn't appear under the Navigation list on my own pages. I do click on other people's Reading pages sometimes, just as I tend to click on their Favourites lists in fanfic, and I'm now confused what the difference between the Reading and Network pages is. (There doesn't appear to be much, if any, overlap in your case at least...)

"Error
Sorry, this account type does not permit showing your network." -- well, that explains why I'd never seen it, anyway!

I was getting the impression that it was some kind of RSS feed arrangement, but that presumably reflects what [personal profile] watervole happens to be subscribed to, and the relative posting volumes of friends and feeds...
