What I originally did was walk down my front porch steps wrong and broke my foot. Then there was surgery, and a cast, and me walking too much and getting calluses and infections and more surgery. So I'm just barely walking at all now, to let it heal up. I'm so incredibly lucky that I have excellent health care at an HMO that has incentive to help me get well as fast as possible.
